The only things worth living for are the only things worth dying for.
That simple sentence left a great impression on me during yesterday's service.
It was an apt reminder that I shouldn't be caught up with earthly pursuits, or be concerned about what others think of me.
All that matters is pleasing God. Many sacrifices have to be made. But it's worth it.
I haven't been blogging much lately. There isn't much spare time nowadays. Usually I only blog when I need to connect and arrange my thoughts. As is the case today. It's much easier to type out random thoughts and slowly bridge the connections, than to write continuously in prose on paper.
I do have a separate proper journal on paper. The things I write in there... are the things I really want to remember. It's a chronicle of my relationship with my best friend. My God.
After I map out my thoughts clearly I can write better in prose on my paper journal.
I don't think I'll be blogging much anymore, unless, as I said, I need to arrange my thoughts.
Hmm. I suddenly thought of the pensieve in harry potter. And how sometimes they immersed themselves in it to revisit their memories.
It does help to record the important things you want to remember. Things like promises. You never know when you need to recall the exact accounts.
